Work With Me

Individual psychotherapy in West Los Angeles | Sessions are typically weekly and begin in person

Therapy with me isn't about rushing to solutions or forcing insight. It's about slowing down enough to notice what you're actually experiencing: in your body, in your emotions, and in the way you relate to yourself and to me in the room. Many of my clients are deeply thoughtful and sensitive. They feel things intensely, even if they’ve learned how to stay disconnected from that intensity. They’ve developed an impressive ability to perform, adapt, and keep going and they’re tired of living that way.

I'll help you stay with those moments gently, without pressure. This work tends to show up in the places you least expect, not as a big dramatic breakthrough, but as subtle awareness. As we work together, many people begin to feel more present in their own lives. You start to notice you can name what you’re feeling or stay in your body when something feels tense. You don’t have to react to everything. You can pause, breathe, and choose.

Therapy doesn't ask you to fall apart. It offers you a place to be supported while you learn how to stay with yourself.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR PATTERNS

When "Suffering" Is Actually Strategy

A big part of my work is helping you understand that the ways you're struggling aren't random and they aren't personal failures. They're coping strategies you developed as a young child in order to survive.

When you understand attachment patterns and nervous system responses, you stop turning everything into "What's wrong with me?" and start seeing, "Of course this makes sense."

What opens up is a sense of possibility that once felt out of reach: a clearer sense of self, more satisfying relationships, and the belief that they have something valuable to offer, without having to prove it.

The goal isn't to become someone who never feels discomfort. The goal is to be able to stay present with discomfort long enough to respond instead of react.

When you can recognize a pattern in real time, you're no longer swept away by it. That is how you get your freedom (and sanity) back.

Clients often tell me they feel more grounded in their bodies, less overwhelmed by their thoughts, and more able to trust their internal signals.
