ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Natalie
LMFT #87578
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, much of my work centers on trauma, parts work, and the long, often invisible aftermath of survival. Trauma doesn’t always have a clear beginning or dramatic story, sometimes it shows up as chronic overthinking, numbness, people-pleasing, anxiety, or a sense that you always have to be the one holding everything together.
I’ve been in practice for over a decade. Drawing from somatic therapy and parts work, what matters most to me is being steady and engaged in the room; paying attention to what’s happening as we talk, not just the story of what happened.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m someone who (over)thinks deeply and talks to my cat. If you’re looking for a therapist who listens closely, thinks with you, and doesn’t force a quick conclusion, I may be a good fit.
I don't want to fix you.
I want to help you build a relationship with your own experience that's sturdier, kinder, and more honest. So you don't have to keep managing yourself just to make it through the day.
MY JOURNEY
Why I Became A Therapist
Long before I was trained, I was already listening and watching. Already studying people's nervous systems from the inside. Already relating to suffering, not from a distance, but from within. I chose to become a therapist because it was the work I was already doing quietly, everywhere.
What I can't look away from is messy, honest human imperfection. The kind of suffering I'm most allergic to is self-abandonment in the name of being good.
I became a therapist because this is where I can be most useful, most awake, and most precise. It didn't start as a calling. It started as the next logical step.
